Contemporary Shakespeare Performance. Eighteenth Century representations of Shakespeare and Jurgen Klopp as the ‘normal one’.

My current approach is to explore subjects from a creative non-fiction lens rather than always working towards the output as an academic essay/thesis.

As a dyslexic writer this approach has been liberating.

Creative non-fiction is a writing genre that does require rigour, trust, truth nad respect.

As I am now a retired Principal Lecturer, so I have adopted my scattergun approach to research. I am curious and easily distracted. The current academic model is predicated on ‘the expert’ the academic with a specialism. My current research ranges across a wide range of topics, including Shakespeare in Contemporary performance, Shakespeare in Art and Creative Non-Fiction.
