Autumn Teaching
Back at work last week after a short holiday, and some time writing. There’s a chill in the air as Summer disappears and the back end of the year starts to encroach on the green landscapes. The campus is very busy. The students have returned, and our new students have arrived. This is one of my favourite times of the year. Teaching beings this week, and we are meeting our module groups for the first time. This year, I am teaching a new module called, Introduction to Literature 1, and again I am teaching Shakespeare: Perspectives, as well as some sessions on the MA. I love the preparation. Rereading things once forgotten, discovering new texts, and returning to old favourites.
